Alex Kyriakidis

Alex Kyriakidis has more than 28 years of experience providing
attest, financial, strategic and integration services to the travel,
hospitality and leisure companies. As the partner in charge of the
Global Travel, Tourism & Leisure Industry programme, Alex's
strengths include in-depth understanding of the industry. Alex has
advised many of the most prominent travel and hospitality companies
on risk management, M&A transactions and operational efficiency.
He has a BSc in Computer Science and speaks English, Greek and Arabic.
He is the lead Client Service partner for a number of major hospitality
companies in Europe and world-wide, including Hyatt International,
InterContinental Hotels Group, Hilton Group and LeMeridien.
Alex led the work on privatization of the casino gaming industry
in Greece and on major investigative assignments for the European
casino gaming industry.
Alex represents the firm in its partnership with the World Economic
Forum on Travel and Tourism and has direct responsibility for the
development of the Board of Governors day at Davos on Travel and
Tourism.
He led global teams in developing finance function solutions aimed
at substantially improving the quality, timeliness and cost of Finance
& Accounting knowledge in a global hospitality industry.
He also led global teams in developing e-procurement and knowledge
management solutions for the travel and hospitality industry, both
of which have been implemented in the market for major chains.
Alex is a Fellow of the Institute Of Chartered Accountants in England
and Wales, a Fellow of the Arab Society of Certified Accountants
and a Fellow of the British Association of Hotel Accountants.
