A graduate in Economics, Mr. Bordas has devoted his professional life to the tourism sector for more than 30 years.

After being involved as a consultant to the tourism sector for several years, in 1985 Mr. Bordas founded THR, a consultancy company specialised in tourism, which soon became the leading company in its field in Spain. Some years later, THR initiated an expansion process in the international consultancy field offering its services world-wide to become one of the European leading companies specialising in tourism. For the last 20 years Mr. Bordas has been the General Director of THR acquiring a broad and profound experience in most disciplines of tourism, but also in the management, planning and successful execution of tourism projects.

His strongest skills and experience, lies on strategic competitive marketing. He has personally managed the preparation of the marketing plans for the Ministry of Tourism of Spain, and the Spanish leading tourism destinations: Canary Islands, Balearic Islands and the Costa Brava; as well as marketing plans for foreign destinations such as: Principality of Andorra, Belgium, Argentina, Guatemala, Trinidad & Tobago, Ecuador, Slovenia, etc.

His abilities as a professional tourism expert have made THR what it is today: an innovate and client orientated company with a comprehensive professional record.
Mr. Bordas is a member of the Tourism Research Centre (TRC), a European group specializing in tourism research, and a Special Advisor to the Business Council of the WTO (World Tourism Organization). He has also held special consulting responsibilities in several International organizations such as The United Nations, WTO, etc. As Keynote Speaker to a multitude of Tourism Industry events, conferences and conventions, he has developed an authoritative reputation on the European and world scene.
