Dr Kjell Nordström is a guru of the new world of business; he has served as a consultant to several large multinationals and is on the board of directors of several companies.
Kjell Nordström holds an Economic Licentiate degree and a doctorate in Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics. He is Associate Professor at the Stockholm School of Economics and one of the founders of the school's most prestigious management programs; The Advanced Management Program (AMP). He was recognized as Sweden's outstanding young academic of the year.
Kjell has published a book and numerous articles on the internationalization process of firms; the book Funky Business – Talent makes capital dance (co-authored with Jonas Ridderstråle) is a manifesto of what is required of business firms and their leaders in these changing times. The book has been featured on CNN and CNBC, and appeared in Fortune, Fast Company, Time Magazine, Financial Times and Paris Match.
A further book: Karaoke Capitalism: Management for Mankind (co-authored with Jonas Ridderstråle) is a manifesto for how to make it in the world of 'Karaoke Capitalism'.
His latest book, also co-authored with his colleague, Dr Jonas Ridderstråle is entitled Funky Business Forever and was published in September 2007.
