Chairman & Chief Executive Officer Mark Harms (Global Leisure Partners LLP (GLP))

Mr. Harms founded (GLP) in 2004.  GLP, headquartered in London with offices in New York, is a leading provider of specialist advisory and principal investment services to the global leisure industry.  From 2005 to date, GLP advised on and co invested in over US$46 billion of completed transactions.  Its sector focus includes gaming, health & fitness, hospitality, travel & tourism, as well as media & entertainment and retailing.

 GLP has assembled a network of over 50 Operating Advisors providing due diligence support, incremental portfolio company management and board talent as well as co investment capital.  GLP has as minority institutional investors affiliates of Goldman Sachs and Oaktree Capital. 

Prior to establishing GLP, Mr. Harms was a Managing Director at Oppenheimer and CIBC World Markets from 1987 to 2004. He is a Vice Chairman of the WTTC and Chairs its Audit Committee, on the LS&A Visiting Committee at the University of Michigan and the Chapter Chair of YPO Mayfair.
