Chairman Qiang Duan (Beijing Tourism Group)

Duan Qiang, male, born in Beijing in 1956, Chairman of Beijing Tourism Group, Doctor of Economics of Tsinghua University.

He worked in Miyun County of Beijing from 1982 as Secretary of County Youth League Committee, Secretary of Party's Commottee, Director of County Economy and Trade Commission, Member of the Standing Committee of County Party's Committee, Deputy Secretary of County Party's Committee and Chief Executive of the County in succession; in 1993, he took the office as Deputy Mayor of Beijing; in 1998, he took the responsibility of establishing Beijing Tourism Group and took the positions of Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Beijing Tourism Group. He led and promoted tenure system-centered modern enterprise system reform of Beijing Tourism Group.

Mr. Duan has a broad vision and holds advanced management concept. He is also experienced with strategic management and capital operation of large-scale enterprise group. Under his leadership, Beijing Tourism Group has been adhering to the general policy of reform and development and continues to perfect its modern enterprise system. Led by the core values of "Performance First, Innovation as the Origin, Teamwork First and People-oriented" and "Thinking, Doing and Succeeding", the Group vigorously practices the strategic idea of "brand + capital", effectively seized the opportunity with reform and reorganization of state-owned enterprises, and made great progress with system innovation, business reorganization, brand integration and capital operation.
