Jennifer is the Head of Rothschild's Investment Banking business in Greater China, with more than 14 years of working experience in the financial sector.
Under Jennifer's leadership, Rothschild has built a strong cross-border M&A advisory practice in China. Today Rothschild has three offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing and over 40 bankers on the ground.
Jennifer has extensive experience in advising both large State-Owned Enterprises and private enterprises in China. She has an in-depth understanding of the growth and development of Chinese enterprises and the challenges they are facing. Recent transaction experience includes: Geely's acquisition of Volvo, Shanghai Electric (Group)'s acquisition of Goss International and Minmetal Resources' acquisition of 33% in Guangxi Huayin, and the IPOs of Little Sheep Group and Shanghai Automotive Group.
Jennifer has also advised numerous international companies looking to grow in China via Acquisitions and Joint Ventures, including Intesa SanPaolo's acquisition of 19.9% in Qingdao City Commercial Bank, Rexam's acquisition of Fangxin, IAG's acquisition of China Pacific Insurance, BBVA's US1,270m strategic investment in China CITIC Bank and CITIC International Financial Holdings and SK Telecom on its US$1bn investment in convertible bonds issued by China Unicom.
